Saw you guys at Coachella, was as right up front as I possibly could be. You were sensational, and made so many of us so happy to see you again after so long... it was a real dream come true for all of us, and we're thrilled to have you back. Saw PIL Thursday too, and you're right... they were amazing. You blew them out of the water. See you at Berkeley... and then the Hollywood Bowl in late September!

Let me preface this by saying that I am a huge fan & can't wait for the shows here in NY @ Cental Park. On that note, the Coachella write up that I read seemed to imply that the majority of the crowd there at the time seemed to go to the stage where Phoenix was playing rather than see Pavement (which I personally think is absolutely ridiculous), and that the field was half full. So, if this is a correct representation of the facts, did this surprise and/or bother you? Or does the turnout really not matter because as Steve has seemed to say in interviews, this reunion is more of a financial decision than an artistic one? I'm just wondering and really not trying to be a douche; it interests me to know if it meant anything to you. I still love the music & want to see the show, all the same.

You guys should play more stuff. Spizzle Trunk, Newark Wilder, AT&T, Nigel, Forklift, Home are all great songs!

Congrats on the show at Coachella, the set came across as solid and very impressive. Hope you guys stay together.

Hey Spiral, regarding Byron's post above - I was also very surprised to read about the reports of the "low" turnout to your set @ Coachella and wanted to know your thoughts and if you guys were disappointed?
